About the Role

GLOBAL OPS is seeking Unarmed Security Agents to support client sites across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Agents are assigned to a single borough based on availability and preference. You will not be required to work across multiple boroughs. Candidates may indicate their preferred work location during the application process.

This is an active, field-based role. Approximately 60 to 70 percent of your time will be spent outdoors and on your feet, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to situations as they occur. This is not a static post.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable and able to maintain a high level of awareness and professionalism throughout their shift.

This role also provides a structured pathway for career advancement. Qualified agents may transition into armed positions upon obtaining the required licensing, with company support and guidance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to maintain order and presence

• Monitor and control access to the property

• Identify and respond to suspicious activity

• Enforce site protocols and address unauthorized individuals

• Respond to alarms and on-site incidents

• Provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed

• Complete accurate reports of daily activity

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Security Guard License

• Prior experience in security, customer service, or a related field preferred

• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions

• Strong observation and communication skills

• Consistent and reliable work history

• High School diploma required

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

• Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings and training
